As some of you may have guessed this blog's around a week delayed... I've been in Byron Bay for a week now and I'm still writing about Sydney. There are three reasons for this.

1. I'm generally surfing or far too drunk to write anything... (oh, and too busy jobhunting, mum)

2. It takes me a week to dredge up a memory of any single night, and about as long to extract anything useful from Mike.

3. Court ordered silences.

But too proud and excited to wait to post this - I bought a new surfboard!
So a red, and incredibly pretty locally shaped 7'6" board for 250quid with a decent travel bag. That's awesome. The board rides really well and more importantly matches my boardies and is really good for hitting Mike with.

wowzers! Thats the most beautifully sparkly spangly magical surf board ever!!! I do approve! It looks quite small though! Maybe you can learn lots of tricks! I expect you to be able to surf whist doing a handstand and juggling by the time you get home!!! sorry i'm in an over excitable slightly random mood! wish you were here for adventures! guess what- i've joined the sailing society! lets see if i can knock this new instructor out of the boat like i did with the last one lol! Enjoy spending the magical Australian money! I like the window bits made of clear plastic! You could be a spy with them! Ok sorry being random again!anyway sorry will stop blabbering on now! Have a fantabulous time! miss you both tons!
