Infadels in Brisvegas

So I returned to Brisbane, wary of my antics last time and on a good behaviour promise...

With Felicity in tow we pointed The Kernel north and floored it.
Felicity has a camera permanently orbiting above her head at the much coveted "MySpace Angle" - there are many photos...
Before the gig we wandered the shops of Brisbane - I saw my first Australian Xmas tree. The temperature was around 29 degrees - I completely forgot it was Xmas time...
I also puchased the MOST EMO SHIRT EVER.
Thankyou GeneralPantsCompany.

After a beer or 7 I met Jillykins in a pub I hadn't previously been asked to leave and we wandered into the Zoo - a great local venue. True to form, Richie was quickly found inside - hyper excited as usual.
He told me his secret recipie for scones.
Jilly bought Balloons - a mate of hers was happy to look after them
The gig was seriously one of their best - they went mental, the crowd went mental. If they played even half as good for the rest of that tour they'll have won over Austraila in 3 short days.

Then a few photos and drinkies with the guys afterwards - going out on the razz was suggested, but fresh off a 23 hour flight and with a 6am promo start the next day those wusses wigged out. Tsk Tsk.

Upon our return the next day we saw another Big Thing.
Job done.

Of all the lines to write in a postcard, I can safely say that I have never received anything with 'Ooh I found a pencil!' featuring anywhere in the text!

Postcard was lovely, altho made me miss you a bit more, that's just meanness :( Koala love was muchly appreciated tho :)

Feeling a bit rough, had a dinner party up near Reading last night, wasnt drinking because I was driving, so got back really late, and am sniffle-tastic, so couldnt even sleep properly when I finally did get to bed :(

Exciting news, many rumours about Muse playing the new Wembley Stadium, they're hopping back over here on Monday for a press conference at the building site, when they should be touring in Italy, and all the people I know that know are going 'ooh, press conf in Wembley, I *wonder* what that could be for!' but wont say for certain. From what I gather though, it'll be July / August 2007, hope you are well up for it, could be a whole line up of bands though, I cant see my little whining trio selling out Wembley in its entirity, as much as I love The Bellamy, he's not *that* good :)

Off to dance to The Rapture and Faithless tomorrow night, so best get back to work, before I fall behind, can reward myself with dancey-fun then!

Love you lots and jelly tots

Hello Snuggly One

Muse all confirmed for Wembley Stadium, 16th June 2007. Let me know if you will be wanting a ticket, and I shall do as well as my little paws can manage :)

Sleepy and tipsy, had a day of nano-stuff, much buckyball fun (I love my research project!), then dancing with Mark (the one that looks like David Tennant, not the one that came to my work Summer Ball with us), going to curl up for the night, excited about Stadium news :)

Oopsie daisies... they should fit breathalisers to anything that you feel the need to communicate via when you are feeling a little inebriated... it'll cause a lot less hassle!

Muse tickets on sale tomorrow (Friday), if you read this, let me know if you want one, I'll prob get the maximum I can, as I know a couple of people that want one anyway, best to get too many than too few. Think Sam is up for it, yay I love your brother!

News of the day, Silver Vixen is still poorly :( I took her to the car-doctors drop-in surgery, Kwik Fit, they said that it's prob the alternator, and that they cant do it, so they referred her to the bigger surgery a couple of miles away. I went to leave, but she wouldnt start. They jump started her, then she cut out again, so we had to push her in neutral into a space (I saw 'we' - I sat inside it, stroking her, to keep her calm) and I called breakdown recovery to take me to the other garage - not the best advert for Kwik Fit, lol! All the lads in the garage were being typically laddish, in front of a little girl on her own - not very picky, are they! They made me laugh though, so the hour-wait went quickly, then Gavin, my breakdown boy, took me to the other place. They've kept her in overnight, have done some tests, and replaced the battery. They ran some more tests post-replacement surgery, and the distributor caps are worn down, so they have ordered in the replacements, will change them tomorrow and hopefully my baby will be feeling lots better by lunchtime tomorrow! It is her sixth birthday tomorrow, she'll be getting lots of cuddles!

Off to bed - sober too! Listen to Mummy Hall, be nice to the liver, pre-Christmas training really is unnecessary for some people, you are one of them :)

Love and Christmassy cuddles (it's miserable here! :( )

Hola!

Muse tickets for Saturday 16th all purchased, standing, hope that's cool.

They sold out that date, but added a second date. I got a seated ticket next to the stage for that one, figured Id be hurting a lot if previous gigs are to go by - Arena gig, I was bleeding from everywhere, even a huge scratch up my back, right inside my t-shirt - you'd have been proud! Still, it hasnt scarred, you still win...

Didnt get tickets for second date for you, coz I wasnt sure you or anyone else would want to go, just booked it as soon as my mate gave me a heads up about it, hence getting the best seats in the house :P

Silver Vixen is back to her former sexy self, perving on all the other pretty cars :)

Suzie has a presentation on Monday, and is dreading it :( beer and sushi to celebrate / commiserate, so not all bad.

Liverpool had another storming 4-0 victory earlier today, eight goals in two weekends. Rock on you Reds!

Best run, am putting up Christmas Tree tonight, after getting far too overexcited earlier when I went to Amy's for coffee and Christmas decoration placing!

Love and hugs
