It's been a good few weeks lately - I took on a cleaning job at the hostel for free accomodation and quit a week later as they wanted me to move into a staff only room. This room is now a glorified rabbit hutch in the carpark.

No chance. If i did I'd have never met this lot:
From left: Me, Felicity (who I work with), Ann-Marie (the swedish lifeguard), Matt (a yank obsessed with beards and sleeping girls), Yeremy (Canadian owning the best T-shirts in the world)Fritz (odd german who now hates me...), and the lovely Kat (trainee yoga teacher).

Some of the following photos are Matt's - as I mentioned he has a thing for sleeping girls...
We've been out drinking a lot... and pre-gaming in the room...

We also wisely invested in a drinking chess set - needless to say I am awesome and kick Mike's arse.

Remember how I said Matt had a thing for beards? We found these three all in the same bar...

We also trundle over to Tallow Beach - a short drive away with excellent surf and the fact that it's huge and on the other side of a protected forest means it's pretty quiet...

Those two boards in the back are my new orange one - a 7" gunned Island shortboard and Mike's deathtrap - both bargainous as they were pretty dinged - all fixed now thanks to my aweseome repair skills.
And this is little Byron Bay from the drive in - tiny innit?

OK, Skippy, celeb spotting in the last pics that you posted. Tenth pic down, dude on the extreme right, wasnt he in Westlife, the one that married Kerry-Iceland?

Also, twelfth photo, Noel Gallagher?

You're meeting as many celebs as I am over here, it's just that you dont need a Jack Black premiere to do it :p

Love you lots and jelly tots

Checking in for my daly ramble!

Im having to do this report for a club about how they can run simple tests to see whether confiscated substances are illegal or not... problem is that Im so clueless about all this stuff (which I personally think is a good thing! The first time I can be smug about something! *smug look* - hmm, I think my smug look is too similar to my confused look...).

Anyways, rambling again - Im baffled as to why these druggie types would need a spoon or a water cooler. They cant mean the ones found in offices, that girls gossip around... or can they? And a spoon? What are they taking, Calpol?!

Anyways, nearly half midnight, best get back to it...

...we're out celebrating deadlines being met and England - Holland friendly tomorrow night, might be best to turn your phone, in case I decided to get talkative :p

Love you lots

Hi Mummy Hall

Sorry to hear your sister's dog is misbehaving - he'll settle down soon, following Timmy and Benji's example of how to be adorable :)

Is your sister enjoying it out there? I am so jealous of everyone being somewhere far warmer than Purley. You are going over in Feb then? For some reason I thought you were going over at Christmas. I was planning on heading out there end of Jan / beginning of Feb, it's just after my first lot of exams, so all I would have left would be my research project, and no exams until after Easter, only I got beaten to it! Might see if I can pop over there after those exams, but the whole disseratation thing might scare me into being good and working, and I may have missed the best of the sunshine by then. We'll see!

Mum and I are off girlie shopping today, braving the rain in boots and earmuffs, such a girl - hope all is well with you guys!

Love and hugs
Suze
