We arrived in Melbourne on Friday and by Monday both Kat and I had jobs.... Kat working in a local shop called The Grotto, and me working in a Cafe/Bar called Greasy Joes - which I love...
...the cruisiest job ever - yeah it can get busy but then I'm usually urgently called over to the bar for tequila shots...
We spent a week in the hostel - snaffling the plentiful free food.
We also caught up again with Yeremy
- where we celebrated me getting a job by beginning drinking at exactly noon.
6 hours and 2 crates later only Yeremy and I were left standing - after polishing off yet another crate we hit the town - after ditching two Canadians who according to Yeremy "Cut our grass" we somehow joined a street gang called "The BloodCrips" and went drinking with them.We now have protection in Melbourne.

That's it, after Amy's party last night, Im not moving until Wednesday, when Im going to the movies, and not drinking!
We did the Laithwaite's run yesterday, so all stocked up for Christmas, Im going to eat and drink and sleep and not revise, yay yay!

But it was nice to chat on msn and im glad you got to open your presents eventually! well done for being so patient! i get sooo over excited by the sparkliness of all the paper and well Christmas in general! still no snow though - bloody global warming!!!
Getting ready for my houseparty tonight- its meant to be tarts and vicars (the boys chose the theme I wanted pirates and wenches! grr)
although i dont think that we have any vicars coming at all!!!!!
hmm anyway better go and get some last minute bits and bobs before town is over run by crazed people desperately trying to sort their outfits out!

Happy New Year Mummy Hall, hope that you had a fantastic holiday, and are having a blast with your sister! Yummy Pimms - we tried the Winte version for the first time over the hols, slightly strange, warm and toasty, but I think I'll stick to mulled wine in Winter and normal Pimms for when I get dragged to the cricket in the sunshine (not a fan - a game you play over several days, with hundreds of breaks for tea, etc, and you still end in a draw? That's just silly!).
Rubbish exams for me until 17th Jan, cant wait until they are over :( Best get back to it.
